Full Job Description

We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper/ accountant to perform a variety of accounting, data entry, bookkeeping and financial tasks.

Bookkeeper/ accountant responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will use QuickBooks to process accounts payable and receivable.

Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday

Pay: Commensurate with experience


  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Well organized
  • High school degree
  • Excellent communication, follow-through and follow-up, meet commitments and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively interface with all departments of the company in a highly professional manner
  • Detail-oriented and results-oriented, while providing support to the team and other processes
  • Solid computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks required

Job Type: Full-time

Physical Setting:

  • Office


  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Job overview

The candidate will have to prepare income tax returns for business and individuals. Review various financial records like income statements, receipts of expenditures and previous tax returns for preparing current returns.


  • Accounting knowledge, with the ability to analyze financial statements.
  • Management of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Management of accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Others)
  • Exceptional customer service (fluency and clarity in communication, maintaining an adequate professional level)
  • Teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
